The Guest Master Bedroom bathroom floor pattern, set but not grouted yet.

The vanity cabinet set in place so that the height of the tiled wall can be established.
It will be set in place permanently later after the floor is grouted.

looking "through" the supports for the main deck.

Today they are constructing and attaching the staircase from the back deck down to the yard level.
These steps will be stained the same color as the log siding;
the deck will remain the color that it presently is.

Looks steep, but really isn't bad, just the angle of the photograph.

From the bottom step looking back up towards the dining room windows. Couldn't take a better picture because the ground was so muddy below.

Updates to house as of February, 2008.

The front door and porch are finally unveiled! The railings have yet to be installed, as do the sconces on either side of the door and the hanging overhead light.

The logs will not be stained until the temperature reachs a consistent 60 degrees (May?). The ground will be leveled so that there will be just one step up to the porch.

Here is the floor of the master bedroom bath. The vanity countertop will be granite in the same "serpentine" green pattern.

This is the platform being created at the back of the media room
so the rear seats will be elevated slightly behind the front row seating.

Back of the house with the new lower level deck being added off the downstairs bedroom.

Another view of the new deck, which finishes off that "tower" much more beautifully.
